Dead By Daylight Update 6.1.2 / 6.1.3 Today’s patch notes (August 2)

A brand new update for Dead By Daylight was published on August 2, providing another long list of bug fixes and improvements for all supported platforms.

Players are still patiently waiting for the release of Chapter 25, which will bring with it another Resident Evil crossover titled Project W. The new chapter was revealed during Dead By Daylight 6th Anniversary Stream, but an exact release date hasn’t been announced. According to the leaks, the PTB may be released later this month, with a new Killer and Survivor also leaking ahead of release.

But for now, Dead By Daylight players have a whole new update to go with. Although no new content was included in today’s update, there are some important bug fixes and feature changes. For full details, check out the official patch notes at the bottom of this article.

Dead By Daylight Update 6.1.2 / 6.1.3 August 2 patch notes

Below you’ll find the official patch notes for the August 2 Dead By Daylight update, which is officially rolling out across all supported consoles and PCs.

Versions 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 Bugfix Patches are published today. These updates include fixes for a number of issues as well as several balance changes.

Some platforms will receive 6.1.2 while others will jump straight to 6.1.3. These versions are pretty much the same with the latter including an additional fix for Bloodweb. This will not affect cross-play: Everyone can play together, no matter what version they have!

    • Reduced penalty for each injured, dying or drug-addicted survivor to 1%/1.5%/2% (it was 4.5%/5%/5.5%)
    • Added: If there are 4 injured, dying or drugged survivors, there is an additional 12% penalty for repair, vandalism, and totem purge speeds.
  • man’s vigour
    • Reworked to properly use stamina
    • After you win 2 Protection Score registration events, the feature is activated. Once activated, you get the endurance state effect. As long as you have stamina, your aura will be revealed to the Killer when you are more than 12/14/16 meters from the Killer. what’s upn will be deactivated once stamina is lost.
  • echo of pain
    • Affected generators now interrupt survivors who repair them (note: this does not tell the killer to scream)
  • dead man switch
    • Activation time reduced to 20/25/30 seconds (was 35/40/45 seconds)

  • Re-enable clown.
  • The localization of the main challenge “Furious Destruction” has been fixed in Volume 2, Level 2.
  • The Orange Glyph “Glyph Massacre” challenge has been replaced by the Red Glyph “Glyph Seeker” challenge in Tome 12, Level 1
  • The rarity of additions in low-level blood networks increases as your prestige level increases

  • Fixed a small visual issue that occurred after pressing the “Upgrade” button in the counting screen.
  • Reducing the occurrence of rubber bands upon interaction.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the clown to maintain an impulsive state from the post antidote.
  • Fixed an issue causing the Overcharging skill test to pass to grant a permanent generator dip when the brine call feature was also equipped.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the acceleration bonus given by Hex: No One Surviving the Death Perk to be greater than intended.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Dead Hard animation to last longer than the stamina effect it gives.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the “Out of Log” feature to remain active when the exit portals were turned on.
  • Fixed an issue causing generators to stop undoing the damage generator reaction to stop undoing when quitting Feral Frenzy using the Fuming Mixtape add-on.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause survivors to not drop their items in Feral Frenzy’s second hit when a legion is equipped with the Stolen Sketchbook add-on.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause assassins to remain stuck in an animated loop when destroying a pallet with their power at the same time with the dissolving feature.
  • Fixed an issue causing the phantom doctor’s aura to flash briefly in front of the camera.
  • Initially fixed an issue causing loss of progress and cosmetics when associated with a behavior account.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a blood web error when switching characters while moving a blood web level.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the blood grid level animation to be skipped.
  • Fixed an issue causing blood network errors to occur intermittently.
  • Fixed an issue causing Attack on Titan icons to appear missing until restarting the app.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Orange Glyph SFX to remain despite completing requirements.
  • Fixed an issue where the Nightmare Clock could not be used on the industrial map.
  • Fixed an issue that caused an invisible collision allowing survivors to walk along a cage in the Gideon map.
  • Fixed an issue causing Killers to slow down due to crashing in the basement.
  • Fixed a bug in the facial animation during Mori Cenobite.
