Next James Bond’s odds of winning against Tom Hardy, Idris Elba and Henry Cavill have been reduced | movies | entertainment

It’s been 10 months since No Time To Die finally hit theaters after the James Bond films were delayed for a year and a half. After Daniel Craig’s explosive exit from the franchise as 007, who can just get the license for the next kill?

It’s the 60th anniversary of the Bond franchise this year and producer Barbara Broccoli says production on the restart won’t start for at least two years.

However, betting odds, which should always be taken with a pinch of salt, still rank first.

The most recent one has seen Fifty Shades and Belfast star Jamie Dornan go from 20-1 to 14-1 at William Hill.

If cast as 007, the 40-year-old would be the second Irish actor to officially play Ian Fleming’s spy after Pierce Brosnan.

Dornan is now tied with Richard Madden and Aiden Turner with a score of 14-1, and Michael Fassbender leads them by 12-1. On 6-1 are Tom Hardy, James Norton and Dr. Strange star villain Chiwetel Ejiofor.

In third place is rising Bridgerton star RegĂ©-Jean Page 4-1, who recently co-starred in Netflix’s The Gray Man. Henry Cavill leads in second with a 7-2 score, while Idris Elba continues to dominate 5-2.
