8/5 AEW Rampage, Battle of the Belts III and Quake by the Lake Events lineup

With only one month until Pay-Per-View Major in All Elite Wrestling, Aew all outTony Khan’s promotion doesn’t waste any minute of TV time. AEW is kicking off a massive five-day batch of shows on Friday, with AEW Frenzy Hosting a knockout match for the AEW World Championship between Mance Warner at Game Changer Wrestling with AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley. Under the condition, if Warner wins, he will receive the provisional AEW title in the future.

The Rampage will also be the site of former AEW Women’s Impact Wrestling Championship Madison Ryan in the ring, as well as the AEW World Tag Team Champions Swerve in Our Glory fight against Tony Ness and Josh Woods. Rampage airs at 10 PM ET on Friday, August 5.

The next day, AEW presents its third edition of Belts battle to TNT. The show will see newly crowned Ring of Honor World Champion Claudio Castagnioli defending his first title against Konosuke Takeshita, AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa putting her title on the line against Jimmy Hayter, and AEW TNT Champion Wardlow defending his belt against Jay Lethal. This will be the second Battle of the Belts in a row featuring all three tournaments mentioned above. The latest show saw former Ring of Honor champion Jonathan Grisham defend against Castle Dalton, Rosa scramble against Nyla Rose, and former TNT Champion Scorpio Sky losing his title to Sami Guevara. Battle of the Belts III Drops off Saturday, August 6 at 8 p.m. ET.

Next Wednesday will be another special edition of AEW Dynamitedubbed lake earthquake. This name is a reference to approximately WCW transmission time Bash on the beach to Lake Tahoe, which would in turn lead to its promotion being renamed “Quake at the Lake”. On the show, Moxley defended his AEW world title against “Lionheart” Chris Jericho, a rematch of AEW Revolution 2020. Darby Allen wrestles with Brody King in his Coffin Match, the type of match where Allen is undefeated. TBS Champion Jade Cargill finally puts her title on the line in an open challenge and the Lucha Brothers tie against Andrade El Idolo and Rush in a Tornado Tag Team match. AEW Dynamite: Kwik by the Lake Broadcasting next Wednesday, August 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
