Over the past week, there have been major changes to HBO Max, with highly anticipated projects such as bat girl And the Scoop!: Holiday Hunt They are completely canceled, even after the end of production. This left fans wondering about the status of other planned HBO Max releases, resulting in Evil dead rise Director Lee Cronin took to Twitter to share a statement about “Keeping the Faith.” With other HBO Max releases at much higher price tags, it’s unclear if it’s a gamble for the player to go ahead with such a release, or whether it would likely come with lower potential winnings, with this project also getting axe; Stay tuned for details Evil dead rise.

Unfortunately, what’s not clear from Cronin’s message is whether he’s reassuring fans to keep faith and that they can breathe a sigh of relief that the project’s future is in good hands or if he’s asking for moral support by not giving up on the film. Absolutely, especially this one near the finish line.
Part of the worry about what was recently revealed on HBO Max is that projects that were due to release on streaming devices will be abandoned entirely, rather than focusing on a different release strategy, like a traditional theatrical release. Complicating matters further, longtime producer and star Bruce Campbell shared just weeks ago that early reactions to the new film were so promising that a theatrical release was being considered.
“We just had a preview that went through…those were very high ratings. They would probably have aired it on HBO Max, but it might go theatrical. Maybe in the fall,” Campbell revealed to CBR.
Campbell starred in the original trilogy evil dead Movies and in 2013, he worked as a producer on a reboot of the concept. While this film had a relatively positive reception, it failed to revive the cult classic. In 2015, Campbell reprized the role of Ash Williams in the series STARZ Ash vs Evil Deadwhich will last for three seasons. The series’ disappointing viewing numbers prevented a renewal, with Campbell confirming that he would be officially retiring from his on-screen role.
