A release date has finally been set for the first-person shooter, Post Void, for consoles. Publisher Super Rare Originals announced via Twitter Their latest project will launch for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 29.
Post Void was previously delayed due to the developer team requesting more time to polish the game in order to deliver the best possible experience when it launches. It looks like YCYJ Games were quick enough to make the final polishes and optimizations to bring Post Void to its planned platforms sooner than expected. Unfortunately, the publisher hasn’t specified why the fast-paced thriller hasn’t been released for Xbox consoles at the time of writing, but PlayStation users can now add Post Void to their Wishlist via PS . Originally released for PC via Steam back in 2020, Post Void quickly received several accolades thanks to its dynamic gameplay backed by its unique pixel art style. The results for Post Void reviews on Steam are currently very positive, with over 6000 player reviews.
A successful FPS requires players to keep up with the fast-paced combat, which requires constant focus from start to finish. In other words, if players slow down or hesitate to kill, the game will be over. Players must improve their PK points to maintain their health, and force them to keep running without stopping.
