On the same No Filter podcast, Olivia said, “The truth is that it didn’t go beyond friendship with John despite the fact that fans wanted us to become a real-life couple.”

“We left this task to Sandy and Danny, but the deep feeling of brotherly love I have for John continues to this day.”

The couple had a great friendship spanning 45 years, which began when they began filming Grease in the summer of 1977.

They went together in 1983 in the movie Two Of A Kind People: “Olivia is an absolutely amazing human being. She deserves a good friendship.”
