Mom’s Step Daughter Is My Ex Episode 5 Summary
The previous episode not only focused on the main characters but also highlighted Kawanami and Minami. Episode 5 begins with Yume asking Mizuto to help her buy a gift for Mother’s Day, and they finally buy roses, which makes Yume’s mother cry with happiness. On the other hand, Mizuto visits the shrine of her deceased mother who died when he was young.
Mizuto and Yume decide to give their parents a night to spend time with each other. Thus, they leave the house. Mizuto suggests spending the night in a cheap love hotel, but Yomi denies this. So, Mizuto finally decides to spend the night at Kawanami’s house, while Yume will stay at Minami’s, who lives next door.
Kawanami and Mizuto start talking, and the first says that he and Minami were very close. But now they have distanced themselves. They both start making fun of each other by making lame jokes and saying embarrassing things. As a result, Yumi and Minami get angry at them because they can hear everything.
Returning from a restaurant after dinner, Kawanami says that while the two of them can discuss and quarrel about things openly, Minami and Yume try to outdo each other.
