warning! Massive spoilers for the final Black Clover arc to follow! Series creator Yuki Tabata is now back in full swing with the latest arc of the Black Clover manga series after a long hiatus, and now the series is completely picking up where it left off with one of the biggest shows in the series to date. The final moments of the Spade Kingdom Raid saga reveal that Zogratis’ fourth brother has in fact been hiding within the Clover Kingdom the whole time. But this was not the case, but the greatest surprise was that he was already hiding in the body of the wizard-king Julius Novakrono.
Lucius Zogratis decides to take his steps after Lucifero is defeated by Asta and the others, and his presence in the magical king’s body has been revealed all along. But what made the revelation interesting was the fact that Julius himself seemed to be completely unaware of this until Lucius took over his body. He hinted that the Magical King was more than a complete traitor turning against the kingdom, and the new chapter confirms that this is indeed the case because they are two souls born in the same body.
Chapter 333 of black clover Going back a bit into Lucius’ past, he was considered the greatest demonic host with the greatest potential in the Zogratis family in general. Born with two souls in his body, Lucius has been associated with the demon of time, Astaroth, in order to find out why they were born this way. It shows the two souls having a conversation inside their body as Lucius reveals that he saw some great vision for the future, and Julius is afraid of what this might mean because he doesn’t want this plan to go forward either.
This is unfortunately the only glimpse we get of the two souls inside Lucius’ body, and it definitely opens up some potential metamorphoses in the future. There’s no telling which one is the “real” Lucius, but this leaves the door open for Julius to get the body back again in the future. Lucius may be in control now, but it will take some time before the series ends. There is no way to measure how shaken this person is.
