Ezra Miller reportedly took part in additional filming amid legal controversies

Despite the mounting list of alleged crimes and grievances, Sparkle Actress Ezra Miller is said to have taken part in additional filming for the upcoming DC Comics movie. In a report on the status of DC projects in development and awaiting release, The Hollywood Reporter He brings up word that Miller “participated in additional, regularly scheduled filming during the summer.” It’s unclear exactly when this additional filming occurred, but it appears that Miller’s regularly scheduled meetings with law enforcement have not prevented them from filming additional scenes for the upcoming movie. Miller was charged earlier this week with a burglary in Vermont.

Miller has been the subject of multiple bizarre legal investigations and arrests over the past year. The studio has yet to acknowledge the actor and his misbehavior that has been reported in public and in private, though it is likely that the film will be pushed back to the summer of 2023 in part to allow them to craft a response. THR’s report on The Flash also notes that “insiders say the studio is evaluating all options” for the film. Although some fans believed Miller’s solo movie might be canceled like the Batgirl movie, David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, recently confirmed that it will still be released.

“We’ve got some great DC movies coming up – Black Adam, Shazam, Flash, and we’re working on all of them,” Zaslav revealed during the company’s recent quarterly earnings call. “We’re very excited about them. We’ve seen them, we think they’re great, and we think we can make them even better.” The comment came after the company’s CEO revealed that their strategy going forward is to not release films that aren’t at their best or just so they can meet financial expectations for a given quarter. Zaslav was probably referring to the delays these three films have faced in recent weeks, but the fact of the matter remains Sparkle He faces an uphill battle.

Miller’s publicly reported outbursts of recent years began in the early 2020s when a video showing them strangling a fan in Iceland went viral on the Internet, details of which are still emerging. They were subsequently arrested multiple times in Hawaii in the summer of 2022, accused of child tampering, beaten with a temporary molestation order by a mother and their child, and later accused of housing the children on a farm full of guns and marijuana. Needless to say, they’ve been busy, and still been able to film new scenes for The Flash apparently.

As of now Sparkle It is still scheduled for release on June 23, 2023.
