In case you somehow missed it, Nintendo has already announced an all-new Kirby video game for the Nintendo Switch called Dream Kirby Buffet Back in July. The multiplayer title sees a group of Kirbys take on food-related challenges to win it all. when announced, Dream Kirby Buffet It hasn’t had a final release date attached to it other than the fact that it’s coming out this summer. Nintendo has now announced that Dream Kirby Buffet It’s set to release for the Nintendo Switch on August 17 alongside the release of a new overview trailer for the title.

The video game allows up to four players to try to become the biggest Kirby possible by eating as many strawberries as possible through several types of events. Helpfully, there are several food copy abilities that can be used to give each player an advantage. At the end of four rounds of three different types of event stages – the race, the minigames, and the battle royal – the eldest Kirby wins. Players can play Dream Kirby Buffet Together using either local wireless or online play, players can also play on the same system.
As mentioned above, Dream Kirby Buffet It is scheduled to be released on the Nintendo Switch on August 17th. Notably, the new Kirby video game is a digital-exclusive Nintendo eShop title, although it appears codes for downloading it will also be available at retail stores.
