Stephen King presents Children of the Corn vs Predator because why not

Fan-favorite horror author Stephen King is always ready to give an opinion on a new movie or come up with a theoretical idea for something, and his latest movie might just be his best shot. After the release of Prey on Hulu, the biggest premiere of anything on the streaming platform, with many wondering what the future of the Predator series will keep moving forward, Stephen King has an idea, which he combines with one of his own franchises. “How about this for a movie idea?” King tweeted, “Children of the Corn against the Predator. You’ll just need the right star.” Based on the responses, people seem to agree.

One user “I’ve been watching, but I’ll really be waiting for Carrie vs. Predator” Wrote, referring to The King’s first novel turned into a feature film with Sissy Spacek. Other king crossovers that include a Predator with another have been suggested add user: “Honestly, a predator staying at home at night in The Shining would be nice.” Suggestions have also emerged about who the “right star” to lead, with a response calling for…Channing Tatum to be the star.

Of course, such a crossover, while completely improbable from the point of view of the film’s film rights, is out of the question for the Predator series. As fans know, the Predator series has been crossing with Alien for decades now, with two Alien versus Predator movies and countless games released since the ’90s. The character has also appeared in crossover comic books with Batman, Tarzan, Judge Dredd, and Archie…twice.

King’s invitation to another Children of the Corn movie is a surprise even though the author previously put the long-running horror franchise to blast. Originally a short story published in 1974, the 1984 version was released in the midst of the apocalyptic film boom, bending itself into a branch of the sub-genre due to the demand for more films. So far, elves have been made in the franchise including a remake that was shot in 2020 amid the COVID-19 lockdowns.

King shared with her: “I think there’s a number of pictures that I’m feeling a bit like, yuck” Limit Back in 2016. “There is one, cemetery transformation, which was made in the eighties. Just kind of a quick exploit image. I can dispense with all children of corn supplement. I actually like the original really well. I thought they did a good job at it.”
