Apple TV+ revealed first look at Charlie Hunnam in Shantaram, the new drama series based on the bestselling Gregory David Roberts novel. Described as a cinematic love story full of hope along with a thrilling epic adventure that follows one man’s journey to redemption through a country that changes his life, sons of anarchy The star will play Lynne Ford, a fugitive looking to get lost in the vibrant and chaotic 80s Bombay. Alone in an unfamiliar city, Lin struggles to avoid the trouble he is escaping from in this new place. After falling in love with a mysterious and intriguing woman named Carla, Lynn must choose between freedom or love and the complications that come with it.
Shantaram The first three episodes of the first 12-episode season will air Friday, October 14, on Apple TV+. Subsequent episodes will air weekly on Fridays until the season finale on December 16.
