Walmart now has an official streaming partner for the new Walmart+ subscription service. The retail giant has been looking for a streaming service to add to its Walmart+ perks, and is talking with Disney, Paramount and Comcast in the process. On Monday, Walmart revealed that it has officially entered into a partnership with Paramount and will begin the show Paramount + As part of a Walmart+ subscription package.
Walmart+ costs $12.95 per month or $98 per year, and offers member discounts on gas, delivery, free shipping, and many other premium discounts. Now, both plans will also include a subscription to the Paramount + Essential Plan. This allows a Walmart+ subscription to become similar to Amazon Prime, which gives members access to the full streaming service along with shipping benefits.
