John Davis missing: Houston man’s wife left without clarity over which police department is leading disappearance case!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – A Trinity Gardens truck driver has been missing since Halloween in 2021, and his wife says she’s losing hope.

Police in North Texas found John Davis’ truck four months later at a truck stop in Mount Vernon, but there is no trace of him yet.

The case is open in Houston, but there’s no clear answer to who’s actually looking into it. The Houston Police Department directs inquiries to the Mount Vernon Police Department where the truck was found, but Mount Vernon BD says it’s not their case. Davis’ wife has been left feeling lonely in search of answers.

All that remains of Patricia Harris from her husband is a pink photo box with the equivalent of 29 years of memories inside.

Harris considered Davis her “best friend”. The couple hit a rough patch in their marriage and attempted reconciliation on October 30, the day before he went missing. Davis visited Harris’ mother in Trinity Gardens on October 31. He left in his 18-wheeler and was never seen again.

“Two days later, it was like November 2, and it was taped to me. Something wasn’t right.” Harris said.

She told ABC13 that she started getting strange phone calls which made her believe that something fishy had happened to her husband.

Police in Mount Vernon and Houston did not say who was responsible for finding him. “So it’s like, right now nobody is,” Harris said.

Harris now asks the audience to shake their memories. Has anyone seen Davis or his truck or anything that could help her understand what happened.

“I won’t stop until I find out,” she said, crying.

Anyone with useful information is urged to contact the Houston police or the Davis family.
