One-Punch Man Cliffhanger Brings the Leading Hero to Life

one man punch The very long saga of Human Monster has finally come to an end with its final chapters, and the cliffhanger game from the latest entry of a major hero has brought back to life! Yusuke Murata’s comic version of the original ONE web show has ended the Garou saga after seven long years in the making, and with it experienced Saitama with one of his strongest opponents to date. This resulted in Saitama himself becoming stronger than ever, but all along he had been in combat with Garu under harsh circumstances primarily after the death of a great hero.

Before the entire battle with Garou for Saitama began, there were likely to be different ways to fight as the series had already tried to go on a completely different ending before being rewritten shortly after. It is then revealed that the true final battle with Jarrow will begin after Genos is taken out by Jarrow in one last desperate move against him. But as the fight against Garu ends and Saitama rises to a whole new level of power in the final chapter, Genos’ death has been completely rewritten as well as Saitama literally slamming across time and space.

Chapter 166 of one man punch He ends the battle of Saitama and Garo as Garo realizes that he will never surpass Saitama’s supreme power. In one last spell to help, Garou uses his stolen divine ability to teach Saitama how to cultivate his strength. The two watch each other gather both of their cosmic energies, thus bringing Saitama to a new level of divine power. This then shreds time and space and sends him back to before his last fight with Jarrow actually began. More importantly, in this new timeline, Genos is no longer dead.

While Saitama still ends up with Genos’ heart broken in his hand with this new universe, the last pages of the chapter see Genos clash with Saitama rather than collide with Garou in a final desperate attack. It’s confirmed here that Genos is alive, and while Saitama may not remember much about how the fight actually ended, this new timeline for defeating Garou has been reset before he actually uses his Cosmic Fear Mode abilities to the fullest.
