Journalist shares interesting Tottenham update!

writes for iNewsMark Douglas shared an interesting update about Tottenham, Everton and Dele Alli.

What is the story?

Well, Douglas – works as a Northern Football reporter iNews – Even if they transfer the 26-year-old player to Besiktas without playing 20 games, Everton still claim to owe Tottenham some money.

While signing on a free transfer in January, Spurs and the Toffees agreed to pay £10m if Dele continued to play 20 games for the Merseysiders.

However, there is a possibility that the English national team will now join Besiktas 13 Performances for Everton.

Despite this, thanks to Daniel Levy’s savvy, Tottenham still look set to make a few million.

Douglas wrote: “Alli left Everton for Besiktas, just under 20 games into the January transfer window that required Spurs to pay £10m.

“It’s not as simple as outright evasion. iNews It is understood that if a deal is agreed with the Turkish side, Everton will still have to pay a significant portion of the initial fee agreed to Tottenham in another sign of Daniel Levy’s shrewd deal.

It’s not quite the £100m or so Tottenham were hoping for after Dele’s sensational start to life in the Premier League, although it’s better than nothing for the north Londoners.

Dele Alli has time to rediscover his Tottenham form

In our opinion, it is sad to see Dele come close to moving to Besiktas.

The Milton Keynes-born midfielder was poised to hit the pinnacle of world football after scoring. 18 Premier League goals at the age of just 21 in the 2016/17 season – more than Eden Hazard and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

But – for reasons unknown to us – things didn’t work out for Dele.

In fairness, Levy’s decision to employ José Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte in two years probably didn’t help – adapting to such a volatile environment must have been difficult.

At 26, Dele still has time to turn things around – hopefully he becomes a star in Turkey and we can see him on these shores soon.
