CM Punk drops out of script on AEW Dynamite

Lineal AEW World Champion CM Punk on a collision course with AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley. It was expected that the “best in the world” and “provider of violence” would collide. Aew all out Next month, but at a turning point, it was announced that the two will unite the AEW World Titles next week at AEW Dynamite. This has the wrestling world speculating about what this means for pay-per-view, with theories ranging from not finishing next week to the return of the MJF to challenge the winner of the event. Another idea comes in the form of a triple threat match, in which Punk and Mux will join former AEW World Champion Hangman Page.

This stemmed from the fact that Punk unlocked Dynamite not by addressing Moxley, but rather by summoning Hangman.

“I haven’t been here in some time and I have some business to attend,” Bank said. “Some things are very important, some things are not very important. I want to get rid of things that are not very important. Where are we tonight? There is someone around these parts that I would like to challenge for a rematch and I would like to do it here and now for you beautiful people. Executioner Adam Paige, do you want a rematch? I’ve got it. Here, now. Let’s go.”

When the executioner did not respond to the challenge, as he kept serving the food, Punk demanded an apology from him AEW double or nothing Discount.

“This is not a cowboy, this is a coward – a bit of advice, I suggest you take [it]: An apology should be as loud and public as disrespect,” Punk continued, before turning his attention to Moxley.

This weird part of Punk’s promo has surprised more than just fans. According to Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Radio ObserverPunk’s criticisms of Hangman were completely off-script.

“If you were wondering something about CM Punk in the beginning of the show with Adam Page, it’s weird. For everyone. Like in, no one knew he was going to do it,” Meltzer said. “If you remember months ago when they were feuding and said there’s a lot of truth in it, well, there’s a lot of truth in that. I don’t know what the deal is, and nobody does that either. He’s supposed to go out there and talk about Moxley and build the match. And he did it after talking about Adam Page.”

While some have speculated that Punk’s mention of Hangman will lead to a clash between them in Aew all outAlvarez stressed that Punk’s words had nothing to do with pay-per-view plans.

“Well, I should also mention because a lot of people have read the wrong thing about that. Whatever they’re going to do next week with the title match, I’ve seen a lot of people say ‘Oh, you know it’s probably Punk and Hangman in All Out because of Punk’s promo at the beginning of the show.” “Punk’s promo at the beginning of the show has nothing to do with anything they’re going to do with the pay-per-view. So don’t read into it, ‘Oh maybe they’ll do this or this,’ that wasn’t supposed to happen. Punk went to work for himself and then moved.”

There is no information on the source of the heat between Punk and Hangman. The two snapshots were shared with each other in the run-up to the title match in AEW double or nothing In May, Hangman repeatedly warned of what happens to promotions when Punk becomes world champion. It’s unclear if words from one of the promotions angered Punk, or if the two were having problems behind the scenes.
