She-Hulk Disney+ Age Rating & Parents Guide

In many ways, Phase 4 has us wondering what we can expect from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Sure, it delivered some traditional movies that we’re used to, but it also threw some serious balls that branch out into unexpected genres. It was arguably the most split stage so far as a result.

However, many are still on board with the interesting directions they are being taken. And that brings us nicely to She-Hulk, a series of superheroes with elements of legal drama.

This show created by Jessica Gao is very different from anything the MCU has seen before, and with the unexpected, it’s worth seeking clarifications on who’s a good fit…

She-Hulk age rating and parenting guide

She-Hulk is rated on TV-14 in the US for mature themes, violence, and language. In the UK, on the other hand, it is given a rating of 12+.

For those unsure of what the TV-14 rating includes, this means that parents are strongly cautioned that the program contains some material that parents may find unsuitable for children under 14 years of age.

With that in mind, the series is not intended for younger audiences.

There are some sexual references all over the place and some bad language as the central character navigates dating and career.

The violence is more than the fantasy violence you’d expect from the MCU.

How many episodes are there?

The series will run for nine episodes in total and the single installments will be shown weekly on Thursdays.

We have to leave the end open.

The aforementioned Jessica Gao is also the main writer of the series and I recently sat down with her Scenario To elicit some details about how she envisioned the project and whether She-Hulk is heading anywhere else:

“…getting into it, my mindset was always like, ‘I just have to imagine there’s only one. Because I can’t think of more. I can’t leave things on the table. Because I’ve learned from working on TV for so long that cancellations and things don’t even go’ You don’t get a chance to show the thing you’ve been keeping.”

She continued, “I really wanted to make sure that we told a full story in Season 1. And for me, this first season is really, in its entirety, really its origin story… But like any good TV writer, we have to leave the ending open for more possibilities.”

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
