Houston crime: Latise Lenoir charged with murder after her boyfriend Dennis Sharp died while wrestling her for gun, police say!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Records show that a woman is accused of fatally shooting her boyfriend, who wrestled her with a pistol at an apartment complex in southeast Houston.

Latis Lonia Lenoir, 29, is charged with the murder, and on Monday, police released a photo of her face.

Police said the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Dennis Lyon Sharp occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 Redford Street building in the Redford Apartments.

According to the Houston Police Department, Lenoir told officers that she and Sharpe were inside their bedroom wrestling over a gun. The pistol reportedly exploded in Lenoir’s hand and hit Sharp in the stomach.

The Department of Public Health said he was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

Police said Sharp had an altercation with Lenoir before firing the gun. Lenoir had initially left the scene but later returned and was arrested.

The iOS said Lenoir had admitted her police role in the shooting.
