Fans had a lot of questions in the last season of AMC The best of Saul on demand. What will happen to Nacho Varga? How will the war between Jose Fring and Lalo Salamanca be resolved? Will Gene Takavitch find some kind of redemption later on-Too bad timetable? But apparently above all, fans were especially eager to learn about Kim Wexler’s fate. Fortunately, attorney-turned-employee at the spray company survived, and series co-founder Vince Gilligan gave an A+ update on her future after the ending that should allay any fan concerns.
On the show’s penultimate episode, “Waterworks,” Kim — portrayed by talented artist Rhea Seehorn — is revealed to be living in Florida in a post-doc.Too bad era. Having long abandoned her aspirations as a lawyer, Wechsler worked an office job at Palm Coast Sprinkler and lived a quiet life in the suburbs. Her new life also included her boyfriend, Glenn, who offered her to eat mayonnaise in exchange for the Miracle Web (along with seemingly lackluster sex). But things started looking up towards the end of the series, and it seems that those changes will have a huge impact on the character after the events of the series. In an interview, Vince Gilligan explained that Kim Wexler is on her way to building a new life. There may be no room for a particular person and she is going this way:
Life will never be perfect. By the way, as we see in that last episode, Kim is making some subtle but significant life changes. You go and volunteer at the Legal Aid Society. So Glenn, her boyfriend – seems like a lovable young man, but I don’t know he’s going to go on in this new world she’s going to create for herself. I don’t know if he will be allowed to stay.
Comments the product has shared with her New Yorker Sure to be music to fan ears. Personally, I have no problem with Kim bringing down Glenn as she is slowly falling back into the legal profession. I’m not sure a well-meaning “chapter” would really fit into Kim’s world if she became a full-blown lawyer again. And let’s be honest, does Kim really deserve a guy who simply says “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,” while making love?
Vince Gilligan and Peter Gold gave Kim Wexler one of the most complex arcs in the entire show, and it’s easily one of the Better characters than either of them The best of Saul on demand or Too bad. I’m just happy Kim didn’t have to die for Rhea Seehorn to get Emmy’s love. The actress is currently one of many 2022 Emmy nominees, after she was awarded the nod to an outstanding supporting actress in a drama series. And it might get another nomination next year, thanks to the second installment of season six episodes.
like many of us, Rhea Seehorn, was nervous about Kim’s fateSo it’s possible that she was relieved to find out her fate in the series finale. After hearing Vince Gilligan’s update, I’d like to see Sehorn reprise the role and lead her own show. Gilligan doesn’t have any plans on sub-elements at the moment, so for now, I’ll (glamly) agree with the relatively happy ending he gave Kim here.
