Xbox Game Pass 5 adds classic Bethesda games with an extra free gift

Xbox Game Pass has added five new games from publisher Bethesda to go along with an added bonus. As we’ve seen in the past, Xbox always likes to celebrate major brand-related events by boosting the number of titles available to play via Game Pass. Fortunately for subscribers, the trend continued again this weekend in conjunction with Bethesda’s annual QuakeCon event.

Coinciding with the start of QuakeCon 2022, Xbox announced that it will be adding five titles from Bethesda’s past to Game Pass, effective immediately. These games, in particular, are included The Legend of the Elder Scrolls: Battle BattleAnd the The Adventures of The Elder Scrolls: RedguardAnd the earthquake 4, Wolfenstein 3DAnd the Return to Castle Wolfenstein. All five games happen to be related to some of Bethesda’s biggest properties, and two Wolfenstein games are probably the notable additions.

To go along with these five titles, Microsoft has also added a new feature for Xbox Game Pass subscribers associated with an existing game. That game in question happens to be earthquake heroeswhich is a free-to-play multiplayer shooting game that was first released via Early Access in 2017. While earthquake heroes It’s been free since 2018, and some in-game content is still locked behind a paywall. Fortunately, Game Pass subscribers can now get all the heroes in the latest Quake shooter game without having to spend any money.

It’s worth noting that all of these new games and perks associated with Xbox Game Pass are exclusive to the PC version of the service. As such, none of these games mentioned will be accessible via Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S consoles. While this is a problem, it shouldn’t come as a surprise given that most of these titles have been added to the console. The service is mainly related to the computer.
