Houston crime: Suspects wanted after taking off with boxes of cash from ATM machine on W. Gray, police says!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Houston police are searching for suspects who escaped with multiple cash boxes from an ATM while it was being maintained.

On August 12, around 1:15 p.m., a technician was working at an ATM in the 1400 block of W. Gray. The victim said that an unidentified man appeared pointing his gun at him while he was demanding money from an ATM.

Police said the suspect grabbed three boxes of cash and ran into a dark gray or black RAV 4 or Ford Escape and fled the scene.

One of the guards at the scene witnessed the incident and fired several shots at the suspect’s car. It is not known if anyone has been infected.

He described the armed suspect as a black man between the ages of 20 and 30. He was about 5 feet 6 inches tall to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was described as having a slim build and was wearing a red/orange hoodie and blue jeans.

The other two suspects were not described, but one was said to be the driver and the other was an unidentified front passenger.
