Top Gun Maverick’s Kenny Loggins reveals if he’ll be back in Grand Theft Auto 6

Legendary music artist Kenny Loggins has revealed his thoughts on making a comeback Grand Theft Auto 6. Loggins is currently helping to promote the VOD version of Top Gun: Mavericka sequel to a movie that helped introduce his most famous song to Loggins, Danger area. As one of the most famous musicians, Rockstar Games recruited him to be the DJ of the classic rock station in Grand Theft Auto V. Loggins’ role in the universe gave him the opportunity to talk about music, bring more sarcasm into the game, and even feature some of his own songs like the aforementioned. Better National anthem, Danger area

When speaking with ComicBook.com in an interview with Top Gun: Maverick After the VOD was released, Kenny Loggins revealed that he “hopes” Rockstar will bring it back for him Grand Theft Auto 6. Loggins spoke about his experience at Grand Theft Auto V, noting how his children persuaded him to do so after they were nervous about how controversial the series was at the time. Loggins also spoke fondly of his experience with the game, noting how clever and fun the writers were.

“I hope so! It was so much fun. When I was called to do this, I called my boys and said ‘Is this something I should be away from?'” Because I had never played the game and there was a lot of negativity about violent video games at the time. They said ‘Dad, it doesn’t matter.’ It is inseparable from the social phenomena taking place now. This is part of social history and you have to do it. I did and it was fun! The writers of that game are fun and they are also really smart people.”

It doesn’t look like anyone ever made a call to Kenny Loggins for a role in Grand Theft Auto 6 at the moment. Since the game isn’t expected to release until 2024, it’s possible that Rockstar hasn’t really started working on radio stations yet. It would make sense that it would be one of the last features to be implemented so that the studio can license relevant music, and ensure that VO for Radio DJs doesn’t have to account for sudden last-minute changes in the game’s story, and soon. It’s also worth noting that Loggins’ radio station was based in Los Santos, but there’s no reason why he couldn’t move to Vice City, which is where the game is rumored to be.
