Mob Psycho 100 The highly anticipated third season will return later this fall, and the boss behind Studio Bones has unlocked what Season 3 of the anime will do that other seasons haven’t! The third season of the anime series will begin in the fall of 2022 along with a very competitive schedule filled with major anime franchises also returning for new episodes, but there has been a mystery as to how this new season approaches the adaptation. With the anime approaching the end of ONE’s original manga, the anime team was approaching the new season with that in mind.
Since fans have grown in love with the first two seasons of the anime, Mob Psycho 100 It’s taken to new heights thanks to the work of the team at Studio Bones. He’s also created a really high bar to climb, and so Studio Bones boss, Masahiko Minami, is fully aware of the kinds of challenges this new adaptation will bring while paying close attention to the original material. Opening about the upcoming season in an interview with CrunchyrollMinami teased how the third season would change his approach.
When asked what the studio was hoping to achieve that they couldn’t achieve with the first two seasons of the anime, Studio Bones president Masahiko Minami began, “So overall the story follows the original material from the ONE-sensei manga. The biggest challenge we have to face is that in Season 3, what kind of themes can we include?” In more detail, Minami then explained that the team wanted to leave as strong an imprint as possible within one yard of the series to move the story forward.
“What kind of themes can we work with in just one arena? We want to make a strong impression. So we also don’t want to lose the appeal that came from seasons one and two. And in three years of waiting for fans, we don’t want to betray anyone and we don’t want to To disappoint him. So this is a huge challenge.” A lot of balance is necessary given the amount of anticipation for the new series along with the material coming to an end. But luckily it won’t be long before we can see it all happen.
