Batgirl director addresses the cancellation of the movie’s surprise in a new video

“I was in Tangiers, in a hotel, on my honeymoon with my wife,” Elaraby echoed. “All of a sudden I got a phone call. Meanwhile, I got all these messages and they said they were going to kill the movie. When I heard that, I was shocked, because I didn’t even realize that possibility. The duo also offered some insight into the state of the movie itself, with the project reportedly being together enough to be in the recent “funeral shows” of the cast and crew, but there’s still a lot that needs to be done for the movie to be truly complete.

Elaraby revealed the movie, “The movie is not finished.” “There was still a long way to go. There was a lot of work to be done… We were just starting to get somewhere in post-production.”

“There were no visual effects, there were missing scenes,” Falah added. “We were missing the re-searches.”
