Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Attempting to stop a wanted man’s car turned into a chase that ended with at least one person being arrested after fleeing on foot in East Houston.

Houston police said Thursday that an officer tried to stop a vehicle on the Silber on Katy Expressway. The person was allegedly wanted in the ongoing police investigations.
The suspect reportedly took off during the attempted stop, which was followed by a chase. The officers followed the suspect to eastern Houston, where they ran along Greg Street in the Fifth Ward.
Police said they have at least one person in custody.
Details regarding the name of the suspect or the investigation for which they were wanted were not immediately available.
