Jack Quaid hopes to be a rare Star Trek actor who also appears in Star Wars

Despite the rivalry between star trek And the star Wars Not quite what it was decades ago, the fact that both franchises are probably at their biggest points in terms of gross output is a good thing for everyone, especially the actors. Although The Boys star Jack Quaid has lent his voice to Trek, playing Brad Boimler in the animated Star Trek: Lower Decks, he’ll be making his live show debut in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, sharing a crossover between the two shows. Speaking in a new interview, Quaid has ambitions to make a living leap to another galaxy far, far away as well.

“I don’t know if anyone has been involved in both – and they are probably much corrected by nerds – in both the live-action Star Trek project and the live-action Star Wars project, but I’d like to be one,” Quaid said. The Hollywood Reporter. “The reason I’m into sci-fi and fantasy comes from Star Wars. I’d kill to be a robot or a Jedi or a Han Solo type, whatever. I could be a blade of grass in a field, I don’t care. I love being in star Wars The project for sure. I never thought I would be star trek View – period. This was a dream come true. So I don’t know. Maybe that could happen.”

Don’t worry Jack, nerds are here. Although there were quite a few people who voted for either of them star trek or star Wars Then she appeared in live action elsewhere, very few who appeared in front of the camera for both. Among them is Greg Grunberg, the lucky Greg Abrams, who played two different roles in them star trek (2009) and Star Trek Beyondand will continue to play Snap Wexley in Star Wars: The Force Awakens And the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Another is Quaid’s father who appears on screen in boys, Simon Pegg, who has also appeared on both Trek and Wars thanks to JJ Abrams. Deep Roy has also appeared in both franchises, despite being behind makeup prosthetics,

So yeah, there were a few people featured in both franchises on the live-action side (and a lot more when you think about video games and animation), but if Jack gets his wish to be in rare, dignified company even.
