The Marvel Cinematic Universe is zigzagging in some compelling directions in the next few years, with incredibly likable and specific stories popping up on screen. One of the most recent that has been revived is She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the live-action Disney+ series that has already begun to flesh out Hulk mythos within the franchise. While Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) continued her one-of-a-kind original story in Episode 2, one of the segment’s final scenes may have laid the foundation for one of Marvel’s most rumored stories. late – world war hulk. Episode two ended with Jane calling her cousin, Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), to make it clear that she would take up the Emile Blonsky/Abomination (Tim Roth) parole case. While Jane initially leaned back to justify the decision, Bruce quickly proved OK, revealing that he and Blonsky have since buried the hatchet. Jane then asked if and when Bruce would return to Los Angeles next, revealing that he is busy at the moment – before the camera pans to reveal that he is aboard the Sakaran spaceship first introduced in Episode 1.
The spaceship has generated a lot of speculation since it was first shown in the She-Hulk footage, especially because of the repercussions it could have on the larger Hulk lore. Many assumed it was, when Bruce spent several years stuck in a sakkar between them Avengers: Age of Ultron And the Motorcycle rental (A point Bruce made sure to remind Jane and the audience at Strong womanEpisode one), he could have been a father to his son, Scar the meticulous humorist and not even know her. This may be what the Sakaaran ship is related to, even as Bruce claimed it was only delivering a message to him.
Either way, Bruce is clearly on some sort of cosmic journey during the events of She-Hulk, but presumably he’ll have a role to play in the final episodes of the series. This narrative could lay the foundation for world war hulk Spinoff, who has been hugely rumored to be working at Marvel since last October. While the details of that story won’t necessarily mirror its comic counterpart, the idea of a multitude of structures in the Marvel universe — some with cosmic elements — would certainly be intriguing.
