Houston crime: Michael Adamson’s mom speaks only to ABC13 a month after son’s body found wrapped in blanked in ditch!

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – A Houston mom is becoming even more frustrated a day after her son was found dead in a ditch in July.

The body of 27-year-old Michael Adamson was found Tuesday, July 19, in a ditch on Brae Acres Road. Houston police said the body was wrapped in a black blanket and duct taped into a red sheet.

The victim’s mother, Kathleen Stroll, said: “He didn’t wrap himself in duct tape and a blanket and threw himself into a hole. Officials need to pay for it.” “I need answers. I have to have an epilogue. I have to somehow know what happened.”

On Thursday, police told ABC13 that it is an ongoing investigation, and homicide detectives are working to investigate it.

An autopsy is pending. As of Thursday, the cause of Adamson’s death has not been determined by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Strul says all she knows is that her son is dead. She doesn’t know how he died and says she couldn’t see him before he was buried.

“I was prevented from seeing my son. I was denied an open coffin because he decomposed too much. He may have been lying since Saturday night,” Stroul said.

On Adamson’s body were his identification card, a wallet, a set of keys, and a cross necklace that his mother now wears.

“I need to close,” she said. “My son didn’t deserve to be thrown in a ditch like trash because he wasn’t trash.”

She says someone knows something about how her son died or who left him in the ditch.

If you have any information about what happened to Michael Adamson, you will be asked to call HPD Homicide at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
