There will be more love and more thunder when it’s Marvel Thor: Love and Thunder Broadcasting in IMAX Enhanced on Disney+. The Marvel Studios movie, which premieres on streaming service Disney+ Day on September 8, joins 15 other Marvel Cinematic Universe films available to watch at home in IMAX extended aspect ratio. The newest in the assortment includes motorcycle rental, Black PantherAnd the shang chiAnd the Avengers: EndgameDisney + subscribers are streaming Thor: Love and Thunder At home in the 1.90:1 IMAX ratio you’ll see up to 26% more image for specific sequences, making more motion visible on the screen.
Like 15 other titles, both the IMAX Enhanced and the original theatrical release are widescreen versions of Thor: Love and Thunder It will be available under the Releases tab on the movie’s landing page. The IMAX Enhanced Edition is available to all subscribers on Disney+ supported devices and will be played by default.
Currently, the 15 Marvel Studios titles available to stream now in IMAX Enhanced include: Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings eternity And the Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness.
Announcing the collaboration at the opening of Disney+ Day last year, IMAX CEO Rich Gelfond said the company’s partnership with Disney and Marvel Studios “gives fans what they want: the most immersive viewing experience in the life of a Marvel Studios movie, from an exclusive play they released.” In the library at home where they can now watch the Avengers huddle with more pictures than ever before.”
“With IMAX Enhanced, IMAX and technology partner DTS will enable content that can be viewed at home in the highest definition, ensuring that filmmakers’ creative intentions are fully optimized to deliver IMAX quality viewing,” the broadcast source said in one of the releases. “Disney+ is the first major streaming service that will elevate the viewing experience at home with Enhanced IMAX, and reward subscribers with new ways to re-experience the Marvel Cinematic Universe and beyond.”
Directed by Taika Waititi and starring Chris Hemsworth as the titular god of thunder, Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor, Tessa Thompson as the new Asgard King Valkyrie, Christian Bale as the butcher of the evil god, Thor: Love and Thunder Among the new content that premieres globally on September 8 on Disney+. Thor: Love and Thunder He finds the God of Thunder (Hemsworth) on a journey unlike any he has ever faced – a journey of self-discovery.
