yellow jackets Fans know we won’t get the series’ second season on Showtime until 2023, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have things to get excited about, as star Christina Ricci took to Instagram to show herself wearing Misty’s iconic eyeglasses in preparation for filming Season 2. A highlight of the series, so seeing Ricci adopt the disturbing elements of the character only reminds us of how appealing the story is and how, after months of waiting, the new season has become. Written by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, yellow jackets A survival epic, horror story, and coming-of-age drama, it tells the story of a team of fiercely talented high school soccer players who become (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the wilderness of Ontario. The series chronicles their descent from a complex but thriving team into warring clans and cannibals, while also tracing the lives they try to piece together again nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is not truly a thing of the past and what began in the wild is far from over.
Part of what makes Misty such a great character is the lengths she goes to do what she thinks is “right,” even if it means kidnapping. Ritchie recently thought about a character’s moral compass and if there was a line she wouldn’t cross.
Share the actor with collider. “I think one of the things that we’re saying by showing how there are no boundaries for characters as adults is that they crossed a major limit when they were kids and so now, there really isn’t any limit. Once you’ve done certain things, I imagine if you’re a certain kind of person, you don’t see Boundaries, and I think Misty is definitely of that sort. I think she’s gone beyond the realm of what is morally acceptable that there is no longer a moral compass.
