In addition to Olivia Wilde’s movie, Payne will soon star in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Before checking out some of Pine’s birthday tweets, here’s what the actor had to say ComicBook.com During the San Diego Comic-Con about the upcoming fantasy film and whether moviegoers will see his character Edgin live up to typical archetypes, that is, singing and/or “feeling lively.”
“I certainly have a lively heart,” Payne replied. “But it’s a certain kind of movie for a certain kind of audience, so maybe it’s been underestimated a little bit. Music… I think Edgen definitely thinks he has some, whether that’s true or not, it’s up to the audience to decide.” “He’s a party planner like Doric tells in the trailer… He’s a guy with high expectations and, even in the face of amazing odds, he refuses to give up,” Payne added. Payne also noted that Edgin does not have any special powers in the film. “Since I play with most things, he has no special powers while he is surrounded by people who do.”
