For those who don’t know, I Nice big fan of Avatar: Another Airbender. Sick I recommend it to anyone which he has not seen, because I feel that every person deserves to watch at least once in his life and seek pleasure in it, whether it is through The words of the soul of wisdom or Aang’s badass bending abilities. After that, I usually tell them to check the subview, The legend of Korragood sequel Could be better from the first show.
Today, I will not talk about the main characters of these shows, as much as I love them. No, today I’m going to talk about the people who we are no Talking about – and people who deserve more praise. From some of the oldest avatars in the series to the unbent characters, here are eight (eight Plusreally) that deserves more attention.
Ty-Lee (Avatar The Last Airbender)
Ty-Lee is the first non-bender person on this list and honestly, she’s pretty badass Avatar: Another Airbender. I feel like no one ever takes her seriously for her quirky personality and cute demeanor (admittedly), as she’s always trying to look on the bright side and just wants to be there for her friends.
But Ty-Lee is a killer in many ways. She may not be able to bend the elements, but she is the most flexible person in this show and able to perform tricks unlike anyone else and avoid getting hit so easily. Not only that, but she knows pressure points and is able to stop people from chi, and with one powerful touch, she can render you useless and unable to use your bending abilities or even your muscles. So she was able to keep up With the warrior Kiyoshi, Suki, someone was trained in combat.
Was Tae Li trained to fight warriors? Nah, she’s just a chariot driver who’s good at matrimonial arts and blocking chi. And you have to love her.
Jinora (The Legend of Korra)
Seriously, why isn’t anyone talking about it?
The first bender on the list, Jinora appeared in The legend of Korra And she was one of Aang’s grandchildren, and while she’s a badass in her own right because she’s an air runner, the reason she’s on this list is that she’s literally replacing her grandfather – literally symbol picture – As the youngest person to master the process of atmospheric bending.
This is the leaked a job. When Aang accomplished this at 12, it was a big deal, but now here’s Jinora, his granddaughter, doing the same thing as one The smallest bender ever in the series. It is impressive. I wish I had that kind of flexibility.
Wan (The Legend of Korra)
There are so many cool avatars in the world Avatar: The Last Airbender, But what I always feel I talked about Kiyoshi. And while she was an awesome avatar who never held back from hurting people to protect the ones she loved, I’m talking about today’s Wan – who was literally first Avatar and featured in The legend of Korra.
Wan (which was actually Voiced by Stephen Yun), was the first to develop the ability to bend the four elements, ten thousand years before Korra appeared on the Avatar. While he was a bit of a hooligan, he turned his banishment from his home into a positive by eventually balancing the spirit world, something that had never happened before. Because of him, Ang and Korra ended up being as strong as they were. You have to give him credit for that.
Mai (Avatar: Another Airbender)
To be honest, part of me almost loves Mai Avatar: Another Airbender Because I loved Zuko More azolla, but I also like it as a demure, non-bender badass.
Her knives skills were legendary and could make any man or woman fear her, but what I loved most about her was her loyalty to her morals. Even if she’s a friend of Azula, she’s known to draw the line when you see Azula lose him. It takes courage to stand up to your enemies, but more than that to stand up to your friends, and for that, I must give it So Lots of credit, much more than you get.
Zhou Li (The Legend of Korra)
Zhu Li was the best assistant and honestly, I’m glad she got her happy ending in season 4 of the legend of korra, Because she deserved it. Acting as Varrick’s assistant, she always had a calm and sedate demeanor to deal with his demands, up to the point where she became Not possible anymore, because it felt like Varrick never appreciated her.
It wasn’t until he finally realized that he loved her and she finally forgave him. I’ve seen a lot of other characters in my life being easily pushed by their bosses, but Zhu Li knew when to stop and for that, she got my love. She took her life upon herself despite the circumstances she was in.
Avatar: The Last Airbender
I still haven’t finished “Death” Jet.
While it was alluded to in Avatar: Another Airbender That Jett died from his injuries during Season 2, I’m still upset that we didn’t get a good ending with his character. I don’t think I could agree with what he originally planned in Fire Nation Village in Season 1, but I can understand how his shock with what happened to his family would make him think that way.
I seriously I think if given more time, he might have a great arc of redemption, but instead, He was killed by a mysterious death Which still didn’t suit me all these subsequent years.
Amon (the legend of Korra)
I will say this – Amon (also known as Noatak) was even more terrifying than Fire Lord Ozai The legend of Korra. There, I said so.
Sure enough, Ozai was intimidating in that kind of ‘Crazy Ruler’. Almost like Aerys Targaryen from Game of thrones, He wanted everyone to rule, and everyone who challenged him would die. But Amon was scary in a subtle way, because at first it was as if he could take your bend away, but in fact, he was able to find a way to stop Bender through bloodshed.
It’s a much more subtle way of trying to show strength against the undead, and what made him a great villain was not only his amazing ability, but his charismatic nature. It was a legitimate threat to Korra, one that has not been sufficiently talked about.
Momo, Apa and all the cute animals (Avatar: The Last Airbender / The Legend of Korra)
Because sometimes we just need to talk about all the cute animals in this universe when we’re having a bad day, pollute it.
But, on a serious note, I think more episodes revolving around the individual stories of animals would have been much appreciated, like Appa’s story in “Tales of Ba Sing Se” in Avatar: Another Airbender. It shows the world through different eyes and provides the much needed backstory. And who doesn’t want to just look at Appa, Momo or Pabu The legend of Korra For hours on end? They are too cute to love.
For those who haven’t watched any of these shows – what do you do? Go see them, it’s time for it Watch these related TV series. These are just my thoughts on who I think we should talk about more; Perhaps we will have additional conversations about these characters in coming symbol picture Movies, Or the comics, but whatever the case, I’ll keep thinking about it.
