New Xbox Elite console leak suggests imminent release

A recent leak indicated that Microsoft is preparing to release a new version of the Xbox Elite Controller soon. Over the past couple of months, a few different leaks have informed us that this new Elite Controller will arrive sometime in the future. And while Microsoft has yet to confirm the existence of the new Xbox accessory, it looks like it shouldn’t take long for the console to be officially revealed.

In a new listing seen on Amazon Mexico, the black and white model of the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 is seen again. At this point, the black and white version of the console has been seen a few times in the wild over the course of 2022. However, this is the first time the Elite Controller has actually been seen on a retail website, which they continue to verify is real.

Outside of just appearing on Amazon Mexico, the most interesting thing about this new Xbox Elite console leak includes the item’s release date. Specifically, the console was said to launch on September 21, 2022. Since that date doesn’t fall at the end of a particular month or quarter, it seems likely that this isn’t just a tentative date. It also notes that if the console launches next month, a proper announcement should come from Xbox in the very near future.

It should be noted that this listing for the black and white Xbox Elite console has since been removed from Amazon Mexico. As such, it’s not something you can pre-order for yourself right now. Given how often this Xbox console has been leaked, there are no longer questions to ask about whether or not this console actually exists, which means you should be able to buy it soon.

What do you think of this new iteration of the Xbox Elite controller? Will you buy it yourself when it goes on sale? Let me know for yourself either in the comments or connect with me on Twitter at Trustworthy.
