Speaking to Chris Killian of ComicBook.com earlier this year, Union said that the original bring it cast some discussion about revisiting the story in the present day.
“We all have an interest in reconsidering it,” Union said. During the pandemic, around the 20th anniversary of bring itWe’ve all been, you know, together all the time doing these panels and talking about the movie and making the movie and all our wild tricks, but yeah, after that we got really serious about “we gotta update this”, you know, like putting it on where they are right now.”
