Unlike the stimulus payments that were made during the pandemic, the stimulus checks that are now being handed out to ease the burden of inflation are being given by the state. This means, therefore, that not all states issue a stimulus payment.

California residents can receive up to $1,050 in stimulus payments with families with incomes under $150,000 receiving the full $1,050.
