Last year, NECA released a line of ultimate action figures based on the ’90s Disney animated series Gargoyles in Goliath’s amazing 7-inch scale. Since then, Hudson, Brooklyn, Taylor, Dimona, and the Bronx have been released, and today Broadway has joined the clan and brought snacks. Disney’s Gargoyles animated series about ancient stone creatures that come alive at night and protect modern New York City only lasted a few seasons, but that was enough to earn it the status of a strong cult classic. The show available on Disney+ has brought it to a new set of fans, and there are many who would love to see it come to life in some way. Among them is Moon Knight writer Beau DeMayo:
“Maybe I was more excited, and that probably kicked me out, I was more excited to watch Gargoyles when Disney+ went down than any other show out there,” DeMayo said. “I was like, ‘Oh, I’m watching Gargoyles as soon as he falls. But that was my stuff. It’s weird, I’m a fan and I go where the wind takes me. Because it’s like, from an outside perspective, yeah, what I do is really cool and cool.’ But in At the end of the day, it’s a job and there are bills to pay.
