Harris County, Texas (KTRK) – Deputy avoided injury in a wrong road crash in Northwest Harris County.
The accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on Hollister Road and SH-249.
Investigators said the Harris County deputy sheriff was leaving a gas station when a woman in another car missed her turn at work.
Officials said that was when the woman started going the wrong direction on Hollister, and collided head-on with the deputy.
Representatives said the woman did not show signs of poisoning and was cooperating with investigators.
Neither the woman nor the deputy were injured in the accident.
