Reborn star Vincent Donofrio drops a thirsty Kingpin tease

Daredevil: Born Again Coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kingpin himself, Vincent D’Onofrio, is stoking a little thirst for fans! In one of his recent Twitter posts, D’Onofrio posted a photo of a slick-looking flask with a single name embroidered on it: “Fisk.” Naturally, fans are already wondering why we got this photo — and what could be in this vial. Given the events of Phase 4 of the MCU, there were actually two game-changing fluids that could end up being suppressed and transferred to Wilson Fisk in a container like this – and just in time.

The last time we saw Kingpin in the MCU, he was facing the barrel of a gun pointed at him by Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox), at the end of the Hawkeye Disney+ series. We already know that both D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will appear on the Echo TV series before they appear together in Daredevil: Born Again, so it’s safe to assume that Wilson Fisk will survive any bullet wounds sustained by Maya Lopez.

Right now, fan theory is leaning heavily toward the idea that hitting Kingpin’s wound with a bullet might require a strong serum to get him right back in. There are two main ways to find something like this, right now: the clearly floating Super Soldier Serum derivatives (see: The Hawk and the Winter Soldier) and gamma-irradiated blood samples from the likes of the Hulks.

What makes D’Onofrio’s post particularly relevant is the fact that it comes on a day when Marvel’s She-Hulk Episode 3 just showed the MCU debut of Wrecking Crew: thugs with Asgardian weapons attacking the She-Hulk in order to extract a sample of her blood. The crew was working on behalf of a mysterious boss – leading theories are that he could have been the Commander (whose origin we saw in The Incredible Hulk) or possibly Kingpin. The latter theory gains some significance because Daredevil has already been confirmed to appear in She-Hulk, and fans were quick to throw it in D’Onofrio’s face.

Do whatever you like with this response, but there are every possibility that we see Fisk appear in it Strong woman Well – and certainly a major character who could go into his company: abomination. Emile Blonsky is the perfect synthesis of Hulk/Captain America science, having got its power from a Super Soldier Serum derivative. This makes Abomination’s blood a major “X” factor (no pun) in the MCU – as Bruce Banner’s warning in the first episode of She-Hulk clearly foretold.

Once again – who knows? Maybe we’ll see Kingpin again sooner than we think, and maybe this flask turns into something. or not.
