It Snows in Benidorm Movies | entertainment

Her pursuit begins in Manchester where Peter, a weather-obsessed bachelor, is laid off from his job at the bank. Bored of photographing the clouds for his sparkling website, Peter decides to visit his estranged ex-brother Daniel in Benidorm.

But Daniel did not show up at the airport, and when Peter made his own way to his brother’s apartment, he learned that he had been missing for days.

From here everything goes loco. Peter decides to register his brother as a missing person with the local police chief who speaks fluent English but is determined to answer all his inquiries in literary quotes.

So he turns to the detective, dressed in Daniel’s sharp suits and enlists the help of a local murderous woman (Sarita Choudhury), an American nightclub artist who seems to be inspired by famous Tenerife artist Sticky Vicki.

Coixet’s unusual editing style (characters sometimes jump across the frame for no apparent reason) gives this rambunctious and utterly baffling film the atmosphere of a forgotten (and perhaps for good reason) David Lynch film.
