As reported on El Programa del Verano, on Spanish television channel Telecinco, Shakirarecently attended the funeral of Rossana Kluivert‘s father.
The wife of the former Dutch striker, Patrick Kluivert, is a very close friend of Shakira.
One of the attendees at the funeral took photos with his mobile phone showing that Shakira was in mourning, whilst it was also noted that her ex Gerard Pique wasn’t present.
The relationship is so broken that they do not even want to be in the same room together.
“Shakira‘s visit to the funeral is striking. While we also know that Pique was on a date at the same time,” explained the television host.
“This couple [the Kluiverts] have a close friendship with Shakira and Pique, they live very close and spend a lot of time together.
“The surprising thing is that Pique did not go. The relationship between the couples has been very close and it is normal for Shakira to go out of respect and affection for her friend.”
Meanwhile. the former Dutch international posted a tribute to his late father-in-law.
“Jorge Ana Lima, for so many years we lived together and shared so much love. Heartbroken, but honoured to have had you as my father-in-law. Until we meet again,” Kluivert posted on Instagram.
