10 Most Valuable Xbox Games

Much of the research on the most expensive Xbox game is based on its price on websites like eBay. However, no one cares about the lucrative market for classified video games. It also takes into account how well a seal is from a C to A++ scale.

This list is intended to show what no other list of players has shown – the most valuable Xbox game of all time. Get ready to see how expensive games can get.

10/10 BioShock ($4,320)

This version of BioShock went for a total of $4,320 Heritage Auctions. The game had many reasons for getting that price. The first is the grading grade which was stamped WATA 9.8 A++. This meant that the box was in almost perfect condition, and the sealing was absolutely flawless.

This game is also a variant of BioShock for Xbox 360 that comes with an embossed embossed sleeve that slips over the game. The condition of the sleeves is close to perfect, which is rare as they tend to be damaged fairly easily.

Heritage Auctions The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind ended up selling for $5,520 on July 11, 2021. This game is from 2002 and still manages to maintain its WATA rating of 9.8 A+ sealed. This means it is incredibly close to being in good condition but has minor issues with the seal and box.

It’s strange, but not many copies of the game are well preserved. This is because, during this period, not many people thought to label their toys or keep them sealed as future souvenirs.

8/10 Fortnite ($6000)

Heritage Auctions He sold a copy of Fortnite for $6000. Yes, before it became popular, Fortnite was originally a humble zombie game with physical copies. The crazy thing about Fortnite is that very few copies were made compared to other games at the time. This version sold was rated WATA 9.8 A Sealed.

This version of Fortnite is hard to find at such a high score. Most people opened their copies, and they lost most of their value.

7/10 Futurama ($6000)

Futurama is sold on the original Xbox at Heritage Auctions The site for $6000. This game comes with a sealed rating of WATA 9.6 A+. The game was discontinued shortly after its initial release adding to its rarity.

It’s important to note that this Futurama version is straight from the Bill Morrison collection, which adds some sparkle to the ownership of this game. Bill Morrison was the Artistic Director of Futurama from 1999 to 2003. He also helped a lot in making this game. Futurama has also been a missing link from the show and is now available to watch but also entertaining to play through.

6/10 NBA Elite 11 ($6,900)

Heritage Auctions This copy of NBA Elite 11 sold for $6,900. This video game is one of the only games on this list that doesn’t have a seal, hence WATA 9.4 Disc scored in its rating. This game was ready to be sent and released on Xbox by EA, but at the last minute, they cut it. It was cut because there were a lot of unfixable bugs that the game would have had.

There was only a small amount of tablets made. These discs have not been distributed or released. All these facts make this game a rare part of EA’s historical failure that many collectors would like to own.

5/10 Halo 2 ($9,000)

Halo 2 sold on Heritage Auctions The site for $9,000. The game is rated WATA 9.8 A+ graded sealed. This was one of the first production versions of Halo 2. The game has a “NOT SALE BEFORE 9/11/04” label attached to it.

4/10 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas ($11,400)

This copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas sold for $11,400 Heritage Auctions. The game has WATA grades 9.6 A+ sealed. This game is rare because it is one of the few versions with the “AO” sticker, which stands for adults only. After people discovered a mini-game for adults to play in the game that was originally branded as M called “Hot Coffee”, game companies had to put labels on some titles and pull most copies of GTA.

The history of this game is so wild that many can see why someone with so much money would put in so much for the game.

3/10 Gears Of War ($14,000)

Heritage AuctionsGears of War sold for $14,000 on July 11, 2021. This copy has a stamped WATA 9.8 A++ rating. The fact that it achieves this score is staggering, as the game came out in 2006. There have been far fewer game ratings and preservations in the past 20 years, which has made this game truly a rarity.

The distinctive nature of the Gear of War series makes it much more expensive. It started its own genre of sci-fi shooter with fun combat and an interesting story.
