Jeremy Strong of Succession Finally Opens Up About This Embarrassing ‘Betrayal’ Dossier That Prompted Stars to Back Him

Jeremy Strong as Kendall Roy, who represents a quarter of Roy’s power-hungry siblings on the hit series Succession (one of the best shows on HBO Max), earning him a lot of critical acclaim, including Winning an Emmy Award in 2020. However, the actor also became known for his unique acting style. He faced scrutiny from many over a profile he wrote about last December, during which some of his teammates – including Jessica Chastain and Aaron Sorkin – defended his defence. Now, Strong finally responded to the profile, saying he felt “deeply betrayed”.

The profile in question has been published in New Yorker Last year and carried “into ‘Succession,’ Jeremy Strong just didn’t get the joke.” In the story, Strong is quoted as saying that he is as serious about his character as he is about his private life. Now, based on a recent interview with Vanity FairStrong doesn’t seem too pleased with how this turned out, saying:

yes. What do I say about her? It was something that, to me, was a profound betrayal of trust.
