Paul Walker received a beautiful tribute from Vin Diesel after his wedding | movies | entertainment

Later in the day, at 9pm on ITV 2, The Fast and the Furious hits TV screens. The 2001 film marks the first time Paul Walker has collaborated with Vin Diesel on the popular Gearhead movie franchise.

But behind the scenes, the two American actors became best friends. They spent a lot of time together once the cameras stopped rolling, and even became ingrained in each other’s home life.

Unfortunately, tragedy happened in 2013 when Walker passed away.

Walker was involved in a high-speed car crash on November 30, 2013, which killed him instantly.

Eight years later, in October 2021, Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker, got married. And Diesel kept his promise to his friend.

He agreed to walk her down the aisle to her wedding.

Then, he wrote a touching tribute on his Instagram account remembering his relationship with Walker, and how their life together has evolved over the years.

He posted a photo of Mido in her wedding dress and wrote the caption: “There’s so much to tell you… I can remember that day when you and I were shooting this scene in F4… When we finished filming that day you walked into my trailer and asked, What’s on your mind? You always knew when something was on my mind.”

“I told you I was about to have a baby and I didn’t know what to expect at the hospital I was headed to after work. I’ll never forget what you said to me,” Diesel recalled.

The actor remembers that Walker told him to go into the delivery room and see his child being born.

“It will be the best day of your life,” Walker told him.

The star, who is nicknamed “Pablo” by love and walker, added: “Of course you’re speaking from experience, and you already have your own angel. It’s been eight years today… and not a day goes by that I haven’t. It reflects the brotherhood we’ve been blessed with… but you know That. The tragedies in life always follow the blessings of life if you stay open and have faith.”

The pair have had a public feud over the past few years, leading Johnson out of the Fast Series.

It all started when Diesel said Johnson didn’t like the “tough love” he was going to give him on the set of his movie Fast & Furious.

In response, Johnson said he “laughed and laughed so hard” when he read Diesel’s comments.

He added, “Good luck on Fast 10 and Fast 11.”

Diesel has now spoken on his Instagram account about Johnson’s participation in the upcoming final films in the Fast Series.

Asked Johnson to “rise to the occasion and fulfillment [his] Destiny.” He was adamant that the former wrestler needed to “appear” because he “plays a very important role” in the film.

He added, “I told you years ago that I was going to [fulfil] My promise to Pablo. I swore we’d get up and show the best fast at the end and it’s 10! “

The Fast and the Furious franchise is available for rental on Amazon Prime Video.
