The calendar finally reads September, which means many are celebrating the official arrival of a spooky season. While Halloween is always a major commercial holiday, this year it looks as if cereal makers are pushing their pedals to metal with shows. In addition to the annual yield of General Mills’ popular Monster Cereals, all the other companies offer their own spooky season specials. Over the past week, Post and Kellogg have announced their own specials, making no less than seven Halloween-oriented shows from the top makers.
“Monster Cereals cereal is one of our most popular products, and while we know fans are always excited to see them, we want to make sure we can offer something new and different with each release,” Mindy Murray, chief marketing communications manager at General Mills. “KAWS’ love of these characters makes him the perfect partner to bring them to life and offer multiple ways to celebrate the season. We can’t wait for fans to find every box and try out the latest releases for themselves.”
