Shonen Jump has some of the best manga in the industry, and it has some serious competition thanks to publishers like Kodansha and Square Enix. Over the years, a lot of top-tier titles have come from these creators, and 2022 seems to be no different. After all, the results for this year’s Next Manga Awards are out, and they’re screaming for some quality titles.
according to the votesThis year, Kodansha took first place in the event with Medalist, a drama series centered around figure skating. As for the following entries, Shonen Jump appeared with the Witch Watch as well as Akane-banashi. Fourth place was awarded to With You and the Rain before PPPPPP came close to the top five picks.
If you’re unfamiliar with any of these titles, you should have a head start before you’ve had a huge hit in the animation world. After all, it’s hard to imagine that these titles haven’t actually gone behind the scenes.
