Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the 2023 presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been considered a paper candidate by the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).

According to the HDP, Tinubu is confused and intimidated by the opposition candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

A statement was made on Sunday by PDP spokesperson Dipu Ologonagba in response to Tinubu’s assertion on Saturday that the APC is smarter and that the PDP lacks guidance.

Vanguard reports On Saturday, at the unveiling of the “Door to Door” campaign group in Abuja, the former governor of Lagos state questioned why the PDP continues to exist.

The former governor of Lagos state stated that the ruling GPC is the smartest party, urging members not to worry about the opposition.

In response, Ologonagba stated on Sunday that Tinubu is only trying to cover up major issues, divert attention from APC’s mismanagement, and stir up emotions.

The PDP spokesperson emphasized that his party is ready to save Nigerians from mismanagement and hardship imposed on them in 2023.

He added in the statement that Tinubu is carrying a large amount of questionable baggage around his neck and is marketing APC’s chances in the 2023 election.

The statement read: “Nigerians are appalled by yet another attempt by the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwago Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to divert attention from the failures of the GPC government by making derogatory remarks about the HDP.

“Such a fixation on the PDP only exposes Asiwaju Tinubu as a confused, nervous and intimidated paper candidate by the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and the achievements of the PDP, who stare at him in mortal fear of failure ahead of the 2023 elections.”

Contrary to what Tinubu stated, Ologonagba argued that the HDP is still alive and progressing while the GPC is a dead party.

He added that some of the good work done by the HDP administration has been undone by the GPC government, and Tinubu is only trying to defend a failed administration.

However, the PDP spokesperson insisted that Nigerians are now more informed and will never vote for the APC in 2023.

Accordingly, “As Asiwaju Tinubu acknowledged in his statement, the PDP is not only alive and standing but also strong, united and focused on its mission to save, rebuild and reorient our nation from the misrule of the APC.”

Asiwaju Tinubu’s incoherent and distracted speech, resembling that of a person under the influence, further illustrates his lack of leadership ability, particularly at the level of the chief.

“It is somewhat shameful that the GPC presidential candidate mentioned the country’s railway system, which was revitalized by the DPP administration but painfully abandoned to terrorists and bandits by the GPC administration.

From his inconsistent rhetoric, it appears that the APC presidential candidate is facing moral challenges and his ineligibility to run for office due to inconsistencies in his qualifications, name, lineage, age, and allegations of corruption, among countless other issues.

Moreover, Nigerians recognized the futility of Asiwaju’s non-existent and heavily fabricated achievements, influence, leadership prowess and skills.”

“Nigerians gave Asiwaju Tinubu the advantage of the doubt, but he betrayed them by engineering a dishonest government that has led to ugly indicators of insecurity and bloodshed, economic hardship, unemployment, division, and reduced life expectancy that have been imposed on our nation for the past seven years.”

“Nigerians understand that he is running for the presidency not to serve, but to control the nation’s treasury in order to expand his exploitative enterprise and economic empire beyond Lagos State.”

The APC presidential candidate has not responded to allegations that he is a promoter of increases in value-added tax, electricity tariffs, import duties, stamp duties, fuel price hikes, and other exploitative fees by the federal government for the APC, from which he allegedly benefits through many. clients in the Federal Internal Revenue Service (FIRS) and other revenue-producing government agencies.”

The HDP spokesperson claimed in his statement that more than 5 million GPC members joined their party in the last month because they do not believe in Tenubu.

He said, “Asiwaju is a huge burden on the APC. He should be aware that millions of APC members are defecting from the PDP every day because of his actions.

“In the past month, more than five million GPC members have defected to the People’s Democratic Party. Nearly one million GPC members have defected to the People’s Democratic Party in the Lagos state hub, its purported stronghold, since his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate General People’s Congress.

“This is because Nigerians have identified the PDP and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, as the solution our country needs at this time, while Asiwaju has been identified as ‘another problem to come’ (APC).”
