Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Police are searching for a gunman after shooting a man several times while he was sitting outside a food store in the third ward overnight.
Houston police said the shooter approached the man and fired several shots while he was sitting on the sidewalk outside the Friendly Neighborhood store in the 3000th neighborhood of Scott Street in Anita around midnight.
Police said the victim shot him at least four times before escaping.
He has been taken to an area hospital and is expected to live.
Police said they had surveillance video of the shooting.
The only description that investigators gave the suspect was that he was wearing a white hoodie.
