Houston, Texas (KTRK) – A mom in southwest Houston warns others about a frightening situation she says happened to her while walking along the Brays Bayou Trail on Sunday.
She didn’t say a single thing, but two men offered themselves to her.
“I didn’t sleep well last night. I was really nervous. And I was kinda disappointed, because I really liked going down that path,” Andrea Dancak said in an interview Monday on ABC13 only. “There was a guy standing by that pharmacy who was a dry-cleaner with his pants ripped down, and he revealed himself. I looked away quickly and kept walking, and I turned and went out onto the driveway and was looking down, I think, to see if someone was coming.”
Danchak said she kept walking, but after a little half a mile she stopped in shock.
“I saw this guy standing in someone’s yard. I didn’t really think about anything. I came around this curve doing the same thing. His pants were pulled down,” Danchak said.
She added that he followed her at first and then disappeared.
“I was shocked because I was like, ‘Okay, I just saw the lonely guy 10 minutes ago. And I see another one. I’m like, ‘How am I going to see two people doing this on the same road about 10 minutes apart?’ I don’t know if they’re together somehow.”
She called the Houston police and they are working on filing a report.
“I just want it to be there so other women are aware of what’s going on on our trail, because a lot of people use that,” she explained.
Eyewitness News has reached out to Houston Police to ask about additional patrols and what will happen next in this investigation. We have not received a response regarding the Labor Day holiday.
