Moon Knight trends as fans celebrate Emmy Win and Season 2 rumors

On Saturday night, Moon Knight won his first Emmy Award, further fanning the flames that light up hopes for a second season. Lots of social chatter has taken place, as the Marvel Studios series heads a full 24 hours after its big Emmy win. Coincidentally, the Oscar Isaac-led series won an Emmy for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Limited Series, Anthology, Movie, or Special, indicating that Marvel has no intention of continuing the show beyond the six episodes already on Disney+.

Earlier this year, Isaac himself suggested that he and the rest of the filmmakers behind the series approached the show’s first season as if it was the only batch of episodes they planned to do. Isaac said, “You know, I think we treated it like ‘That’s the story’.” RadioTimes.com. “And let’s put everything on the table in this story. There are certainly no official plans to continue with that. I think it will depend on what the story is.”
